Post Road School kindergartners meet their families to create gingerbread houses

Parents and children creating gingerbread houses

Parents were in for a special treat Monday afternoon when they joined their kindergartners in Post Road School’s dual-language classrooms for a hands-on experience creating gingerbread houses.

The students greeted their loved ones with hugs before happily guiding them to sit at their sides, eager to begin decorating the creamy confectionery creations.

Teacher Lauren Servelli ensured that every child had all the necessary ingredients and captured photos of the bustling tables, where the finished houses were carefully wrapped in shiny take-home bags.

The same joyful scene unfolded next door in Maria Wise’s adjoining classroom, filling the space with laughter and holiday spirit.

Be sure to check out the attached photos from this lively and heartwarming event.
